Why You Need New Branding Photos This Fall

If you’re like most business owners (myself included), you have a to-do list that’s a mile long, and it’s a constant project to just manage your priorities and figure out what needs to be done when. This fall is the perfect time to tackle one particular project on your list: updating your branding photos.

Taking Advantage of the Fall Beauty

Most of the time, I take branding photos either in my Mercer Island studio or at your workplace, so they’re usually indoors. But if it aligns with your brand, incorporating some strategic outdoor photos can be a great way to get a touch of nature and vitality in your branding photography.

If you’re envisioning some outdoor shots for your session, this fall is the perfect time because of the stunning aesthetics of autumn, creating beautiful backgrounds for us. Of course, if the woodsy look doesn’t suit your brand, my location near Seattle also gives us the option of beachy backgrounds and more.

Getting Ready for Holiday Marketing

For many businesses, autumn is about more than falling leaves and a crisp chill in the air. It’s also the time when you’re gearing up for a marketing blitz for the holiday shopping season. What better way to jumpstart that marketing than with a batch of brand new photos?

Having new branding photos taken now will allow you to have all new images in your holiday marketing so everything looks original and new. We can even incorporate certain elements of your holiday strategy or themes into the branding session so that some of your photos are customized to your campaigns.

Hitting the Ground Running in the New Year

The new year is right around the corner, so another major project your business will probably be working on soon, if you haven’t already, is building out a plan for the year ahead. This is a great time to look at what’s working well for you and to establish goals for the coming year, refine your branding strategy and your approach, and determine where you want to put your focus moving forward.

If you’ve already thought through some of these questions, this fall is a perfect opportunity to get fresh branding photos that align with your strategy for the new year. Not only will you be able to start the year with plenty of on-brand images to refresh your marketing, but your strategy for the year ahead can inform your session. For example, if there’s a particular market segment you’re planning to focus on, we can design images that’ll appeal to that segment specifically.
